.What size bottle do I need?
8 ounce can do up to 40 square feet (or approximately 4 jackets). 16 ounce up to 80 square feet (or approximately 8 jackets). We use high output triggers so be sure not to over apply. Try a single coat first and test for waterproofing.
Will Aqua Armor affect my fabric?.
Aqua Armor will not affect the color, feel, or pliability of the fabric and dries odor free!
How do I heat activate a synthetic fabric?
Spray the fabric until damp. Let sit for a few minutes. We prefer to use a hand iron so we can control where and how much heat. Iron until just before completely dry. Be sure to always follow the manufacturer's care label first.
How To Apply
- Start with clean, dry fabric free of detergent residue
- Apply outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
- Suspend item to be treated to ensure complete coverage
- Test for colorfastness in small inconspicuous area
- Spray until item is evenly wet. Be sure to get those seams!
- Let dry until slightly damp
- Best performance is reached by ironing on highest heat settings allowed per manufacturers care label. Item can also be placed in dryer or by using hair dryer
- Ensure item is completely dry before wearing
- Test for waterproofing by sprinkling water on surface. If protection is not sufficient, a second application may be necessary.
